Cooking Class In Authentic and Modern Greek - Paddington
Your host and cooking teacher is Maria Benardis. She has spent many years studying ancient Greek cuisine and travelling throughout Greece to explore the cuisine, ingredients, recipes, people, and culture. These include Kalamata and the Peloponnesus region, the Attica region (Athens) and the islands of Crete, Rhodes, Psara, Chios, Aegina, Symi, Tinos, Mykonos, and Santorini.
After working in the kitchen at the Neil Perry restaurant XO, she quickly realised that she wanted to share her recipes and stories of cooking Greek food with others.
Her philosophy is, '...simplicity, fresh organic ingredients whenever possible, love, and intuition. Above all, don't be afraid to have a go and make it a fun and sensual experience. Include friends and family. No rules. No boundaries. I encourage you to explore and experiment and make these dishes your own.'
The classes have a variety of different menus for you to choose from.
